Foster Search
Hi, my name is *PETER PAN
Peter Pan doesn't want to be a lost boy anymore! This sweet dog is ready to cast off his wandering ways and settle down in a forever home with a kind, patient family to call his own. Peter Pan gets a little scared to meet new people and it's not unusual for him to express his emotions by flopping around excitedly at your feet.
But his heart is bursting with love and playful puppy energy just waiting for the right person to give it to. When he warms up to staff and volunteers, he loves belly rubs, walks well on leash, and loves attention!
He is a staff and volunteer favorite due to his gentle disposition and his sweet nature. Peter Pan has been at the shelter for a very long time and after months of waiting, he's ready to find his forever home. After living on the lam, Peter Pan needs some training and reassurance to be his best self, but you won't be able to resist his silly antics and good-natured personality. He's available for foster or adoption!
My Special Considerations
*Peter Pan is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. In a dog run kennel, he was jumping and barking. He is now in a dog suite and is doing well but sometimes gets nervous when many people are outside of his room. He is a very sweet boy who shows some anxious behaviors like jumping. He is a playgroup candidate but prefers calm dogs. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
